This site is one of my dream projects, where I would like to capture and propagate all of my experiences and learnings that I have gathered over the years through a multitude of interviews. I have appeared for the interviews by almost all of the major companies, trying to understand their mindset, requirements, what they want to hear, what they don’t want to hear, their source of questions, and the criterion laid out for the recruitment.
I intentionally decided to publish this knowledge on the web instead of a book so that everyone, especially those seeking a new job, would benefit from this knowledge.
A dedicated effort of just three months, coupled with the knowledge from this site, and a little bit of common sense can get you through any company’s interview.
Note that the intention here is not to teach any particular language such as C/C++/Java, but to help you use your existing knowledge to make the best out of the interviews that you encounter.
I would like to extend my thanks to my parents, for being with me through the ups and downs in my life, encouraging and supporting me throughout.
I would also like to thank Soumitra Chatterjee for helping me understand some of the key concepts in C/C++ and encouraging me to add a section on the same in my website. Soumitra Chatterjee has been working on the C/C++ compiler frontend, and has also designed a Linux binary emulator, besides publishing several papers and creating several patents.
I would also like to thank Sean Anderson, Research Assistant and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford University, with a number of patents and publications in the US.
