The 99% of the interviewer ask this question to get a feel about the candidate. It’s a dangerous question as it allows you to talk for maximum time and if you are not prepared then it might lead you to disclosing something about you which puts wrong impression on interviewer.

Always try to start with you education background then technical background, work that you have done and show that you the best match for this job. Always show that you have improved yourself at every point of time and proved yourself in the entire situation.
